An investigation by the Healthcare and Youth Inspectorate (IGJ) shows that hospitals are doing too little to prevent ICT malfunctions. For that reason, the government agency is going to require hospitals to comply with the legal standards for information security in healthcare: NEN 7510, by 2023 at the latest.
