Our culture really appeals to me. This is open, direct and colleagues are there for you if you have a question. Working at DBA.nl is very diverse. DBA.nl has a broad customer base and this ensures that I have contact with many different organizations. From municipalities to companies in tech or transport. Every customer has its own challenges and we try to match our services as seamlessly as possible. The services that DBA.nl offers are therefore very diverse. We not only support products from Oracle and Microsoft, but also Postgresql, for example. We provide a wide range of solutions for these products, from management to a short deployment of our consultants for a quick fix.

DBA.nl helps customers to solve performance problems, to perform consultant security scans and to maintain the customer’s database environment. So there are always different aspects to consider.

Activities

In my work I have a lot of contact with customers, I speak to both the IT manager and the technician. This makes the variety very great. There is therefore no such thing as a standard day. One day there is a tender, the next day you have contact about a licensing issue or a complicated migration process starts at a customer. Sales at DBA.nl therefore entails more than just calling leads and drawing up quotations. We really do our best to think along with the customer in solutions. What helps here is that our consultants are very involved and have a lot of knowledge and experience. In this way we deliver custom work for every customer and I get a lot of energy from this.

 

Opportunities

In addition to account management, I also have a number of other roles within DBA.nl. I am jointly responsible for marketing and communication. And I am involved in the prevention policy within the organization. Especially in this difficult Corona time I learn a lot from this.
