FAQ

How does a SQL database work?

An SQL database is an ordered collection of data in relational tables.

An SQL database is a collection of tables in which data is stored in an orderly manner. The aim is that, with the correct access data and authorizations, this data can be quickly retrieved, edited and/or deleted by an application or by another database. This is done with the Transact-SQL language, the Microsoft variant of the standard SQL language. The tables can be linked to each other, so that data only has to appear once in the database: an ordered collection of data.
