RID de Liemers awards DBA.nl the tender “Oracle database and infrastructure management services and Microsoft SQL databases”.

RID de Liemers, the shared service center RID, of the municipalities of Duiven, Westervoort and Zevenaar, among others, has awarded DBA.nl the tender for database management. Since 2014, DBA.nl, the database experts, have ensured that the database environment of RID de Liemers functions stably, quickly and reliably.

The long-term relationship that has been built is based on mutual trust. The collaboration started in 2014 with the maintenance and management of the Oracle environment . Other projects that DBA.nl has carried out for RID de Liemers are various migrations, the delivery of new Oracle hardware and advising on licenses .
Where DBA.nl first only managed the Oracle environment, it will now also manage the Microsoft SQL Server environment.

On May 19, 2022, Wilfred Hekkers, general manager of RID de Liemers and Erik Bekkers, general manager of DBA.nl, signed the new cooperation agreement. This new agreement runs for 4 years with an option to extend for a maximum of two two years.

Both RID de Liemers and DBA.nl are looking at the renewed collaboration with great confidence. Erik Bekkers: “We are extremely proud that we have once again gained the confidence of RID de Liemers to carry out the management for the coming years.”
